The Waru Rug

 This is a collaboration with artist ‘ ‘  The Title for this rug is  “Waru” meaning tracks. The tracks of the people on their life’s journey. “We are artists. We are Kalkadoon women. We are mothers, sisters, partners, business owners. We are telling stories of our Kalkatungu homelands and sharing the colours, textures and history of our home. We are Cungelella Art” Our woven cotton throws have been loved by thousands over the past 6 years for their versatility and unique designs.
