The Keira Wolf Rug

 This is a limited-edition collaboration with artist ‘. Keira Wolf is a self taught Australian Artist based on the Gold Coast. With a strong family connection to Hawaiian culture, Keira has been able to use these experiences to inspire and guide her through many forms of artistic expression. With a thirst for colour and form, Keira uses acrylic, spray paint, oil sticks, pastels and pen to create emotive and vivid pieces by balancing bold design and fine detail. She draws inspiration from elements of the past, textiles, weathered music posters that line the city streets revealing layers of times gone by, the curves of mid century design, the attributes of nature amongst others, while blues, 80’s and old rock music are the soundtrack to her creations. “The painting is called Salty Visions.. I wanted it to be colourful but with more muted tones, and an earthy palette. So I played around with different colour variations and created some special shades of colour that worked together and made each other really pop. The whole time I was painting Salty Visions I thought of different places I have seen, the wild and wonderful memories I have and what visions and stories I have for the future. We all create our own life painting, formulating different colours details and moments … when all married together creates this massive large scale painting called life! ” – Keira Wolf  Our woven cotton throws have been loved by thousands over the past 6 years for their versatility and unique designs.
